The fact is that all vaginas are known to have a natural odour. The odour of each and every woman is different and this could change over a period of time. Certain events like exercise or for example sex could change the colour of your vagina. At the same time, you can still reduce the chances of odour occurring with a series of below-mentioned steps

Proper hygiene is important

Make it a point that you wash your genitals regularly. Do rely on the use of soaps that poses no danger to the skin

If excess moisture is found around the area of the genitals or the vagina it could lead to the formation of excess moisture. It does make sense to wear undergarments that are 100 % cotton, can wick away moisture and at the same time is breathable. There are certain fabrics that encourage the growth of bacteria and promote airflow.

To conclude the vagina does appear to be a self-cleaning unit. It does go on to eliminate semen, blood along with other fluids that emerge through natural carriers. With harsh washes, you can throw them off.

In case if you feel discomfort do not hesitate to use a douche to clean it.
