How To Pack For A Teenage Girl

It is a dream for every teenage girl to go to another country, experience the beauty and spend her time away from family and school. The art, the languages, everything will attract her and once she gets there is only becomes more perfect for her with each passing day.

Knowing what to do and how to pack for the needs of a teenager is something every mother dreads. A teenage girl has her own mindset, her own need to experience the world without anyone else helping her. However, it is still crucial to know what to send with her and tell her what to pack and why.

In an effort to prioritize the packing, a few tips can help you make your daughter’s trip safe.

How To Pack For A Teenage Girl

Ziploc Bags

Always keep a bunch of Ziploc bags that your little girl can use to keep her wet clothes in. It is common knowledge that the girl will not clean or wash dirty socks or undergarments or wet clothes. So giving her plastic Ziploc bags will make sure those clothes do not ruin the others.

Pack Smart

Roll up shirts and cotton clothing to keep them from wrinkling. This will also save up space for the young girl and make it easier for her to add whatever other clothes she wants to put in. Divide the clothes in your suitcase by category. This will make it easier to find them and keep them from being disrupted. Forget pajamas and put in sweat pants and a t – shirt.

This can also function as travelling clothes and even something she can wear when she wants to be comfortable. Hair clips, earring and other jewelry can be put into Ziploc bags. To keep the chains on necklaces becoming tangled, wrap them up in a tissue paper and roll them up.

Take a Smaller Case

Getting a smaller suitcase will benefit the little girl in more ways than one. It will be easier to move and since there will be less stuff it in, it will lessen the responsibility of taking care of her belongings and increase the time she spends having fun.

Shoes

Pack shoes that are comfortable and she can walk in for a long time. Flip flops would be the best if going to areas with beaches and a summery atmosphere. They are easy to wear, durable and comfortable. Other shoes would include something light which she can wear out and not have her feet hurting after.

Tag the Suitcases

Chances are that, in her excitement, she can lose her bag. Write a name and number that can be called in this case. People at the airport will find it easier to retrieve the bag if there is a name and number attached and getting it back will be no problem.

After all documentation has been dealt with and placed in an easy to access part of the case. Make the trip easier for a teenage girl and tell her to keep in mind that safety is key. Other than that, letting her enjoy and experience a new trip is easier once she knows how to pack and what to expect once she gets there.
